Residing in Irwin and a graduate of Hempfield High School(1984) and East Carolina University(1988 BSBA Marketing, with minors in Broadcasting/Journalism) I am honored and privileged to call high school football and basketball games for your enjoyment on SAM FM. Our sports department takes a lot a pride in bringing you exciting games with color analysis by SAM FM News Director Brent Whigham joining me in the booth. New to the mix is 2008 football sideline reporter Mike Mallory. Mike will provide live action sideline reports at each football game.

In 20+ years of broadcasting local high school sporting events, I have been fortunate to call over 650 total games and no doubt 2007 was a terrific year for high school sports in Westmoreland County with Jeannette winning WPIAL and PIAA titles in both football and basketball. 2008 could be another banner year…..
