Jim DeCesare is the host of Jazzz Impressions, a weekly contemporary jazz show that airs each Sunday from 9am to 10am on SAM FM. Jim has hosted Jazzz Impressions since 1976, which makes Jazzz Impressions the longest running contemporary jazz show on radio. Each week Jim offers a great variety of jazz from the 70's, 80's 90's and today. Core artists include The Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, Brian Bromberg, Jeff Kashiwa, Larry Carlton, Bob James, Boney James, Najee, Kirk Whalum and more. Through the years the music has been labeled "Contemporary Jazz", "Fusion", "Smooth Jazz"... Jim says, "I don't like to put a name to it.
